Tim Collins
Co-President

Tim received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in Business Administration.  Prior to attending Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, Tim worked for Gigunda Group, an independent experiential marketing agency.  On the agency-side Tim was responsible for the creation and execution of brand involvement campaigns for clients that include Procter & Gamble, Nike, Discover Card, and Shell Oil.  Upon attaining his MBA, Tim plans to pursue a career in Brand Management.  In addition to his involvement with the Graduate Marketing Association, Tim is a member of the Graduate Entertainment & Media Alliance, GU Connect, and the Georgetown University Cycling Team.
   
Sam Niburg
Co-President

Sam is originally from Stockholm, Sweden where he graduated from the Royal Institute of Technology with a M.S in Engineering and Management. As part of that degree, he did his Master's thesis on brand management in transition economies at Johns Hopkins University. Prior to attending Georgetown, Sam worked for a couple of years in international business development, purchasing and marketing, most recently at Quixote Group in Greensboro, NC. He has accepted a brand management internship with General Mills in Minneapolis this summer.
   
Jane Gu
Co-VP of Career Management

Jane Jane graduated University of Michigan- Ann Arbor, with a B.A. and a triple major in Economics, Asian Studies, and Art History. Prior to Georgetown, she spent three years with JPMorgan in Investment and Commercial Banking. Her most recent position was Analyst in JPMorgan Investment Bank’s European and Asian Client Group. Clients she covered include Toyota, L’Oreal, and BMW. Jane interned in brand management at Diageo, a global premium wine and spirits company. She will be joining American Express as a Marketing Manager in their Consumer Cards division after graduating from Georgetown.
   
Aisha Waliany
Co-VP of Career Management

Aisha graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Economics. Prior to Georgetown, she spent a year as the Director of Operations of a chain of quick service restaurants in Houston, TX and before that four years in institutional sales at the Royal Bank of Canada and Morgan Stanley Capital International in NYC. Aisha has accepted a summer internship position in brand management with Campbell’s Soup Company and plans to begin a career in brand management in the consumer packaged goods industry upon graduation.
   
Kathy Gecas
VP of Consulting Projects

Kathy graduated from Western Washington University with a B.A. in Economics.
After completing her undergraduate degree, Kathy served as a small business development volunteer in Morocco with the Peace Corps. After returning the states, Kathy spent three years in accounting and finance in the IT industry - at both Microsoft and VMC. Kathy plans to pursue a career in marketing upon completing her MBA.
   
Allen Lin
Co-VP of Internal Events

Allen graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.  Prior to Georgetown, he spent two years as a member of General Electric’s Information Management Leadership Program and three years as an operations manager with Cox Communications.  Allen has accepted a summer internship position with Toyota and will pursue a career in strategic/product planning in the auto industry upon graduation.
   
Luciana Mosoia
Co-VP of Internal Events

Luciana is a first year MSB student focusing on pursuing a career in marketing and corporate strategy.  Previous to business school she worked in international trade consulting, advising major multinationals on political and economic developments in Latin America, Eastern and Central Europe, and the emerging markets in Middle East and North Africa.  Born and raised in Romania, Luciana is fluent in Romanian, French, and Spanish, and has some knowledge of Portuguese and Arabic.  She graduated cum laude from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service with a B.S. in International Policy.
   
Jennifer Chung
Co-VP of External Events

Jennifer graduated Hanyang University with a B.A. in both English and Communications upon returning to Seoul, Korea after growing up in New Jersey.   She is bilingual in English and Korean, having lived half her life in the U.S. and in Korea.   Prior to business school, she was responsible for marketing strategy and business development at Fidelity's Seoul office, where she helped launch the mutual fund business.   Jennifer has gained exposure by working both in the U.S. and internationally as well as on the client and agency side.   She interned at American Express during the summer and will be pursuing a career in CRM strategy with IBM Consulting upon graduation.
   
Amanda Sisley
Co-VP of External Events

Amanda graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in American Studies and immediately began a career in marketing and consumer promotions. In her five years prior to business school, she oversaw strategic and executional aspects of various consumer promotions and new product launches for brands such as Holiday Inn, Sara Lee, DuPont, Starbucks, Seattle's Best Coffee and Tazo tea, most recently as an On-site Consultant at Kraft Foods. After spending her summer internship at Nike, Amanda will be pursuing a career in brand management at MillerCoors post-graduation.
   
Mike Kim
VP of Communications

Mike graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a  B.A. in history. Before coming to Georgetown, he founded Crossing Borders, an NGO assisting North Korean refugees in China. Mike recently accepted a summer internship with Johnson & Johnson McNeil in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, he plans on pursuing a career in brand management.
   
Jamie Ladd
Co-VP of Social Events

A Southern California native, Jamie graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in Art History and English.  Jamie spent the next three years living and working in Santa Monica during which she worked in corporate strategy and business development for Hyatt Hotels International’s Tokyo properties followed by a position with the Viceroy Hotel in business development and event management.  Upon graduation from Georgetown, Jamie plans to pursue a career in brand management or corporate strategy.
   
Omid Mashhadi
Co-VP of Social Events

Omid graduated as an electrical engineer from New Mexico State University. Upon graduation, Omid worked for Pacific Gas and Electric in CA as a planning and distribution engineer.  He then went on to work within semiconductor manufacturing at Intel Corporation in Portland, OR.  While in Oregon Omid also began a real estate investment company which he is still currently the co-president of.  Omid is currently active in the MSB community, along with the VP of Social events for GMA, he is also the co-president of the Georgetown Entrepreneur and Technology Alliance.  He is currently seeking a career in strategy within medical devices and other technical related industries.
   
Amy Miller
Co-VP of Fundraising

Amy graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration.  After graduation, Amy moved back to her hometown of Tampa where she spent the past few years working as a Media Buyer for FKQ Advertising & Marketing.  Upon attaining her MBA, Amy would like to pursue a career in brand management at a consumer packaged goods company.
   
Maria Vasquez
Co-VP of Fundraising

Maria graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor's degree in International Relations and minor in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity.  Prior to Georgetown, Maria worked for three and a half years in media marketing and two years in technology business development.  She plans to transition into brand management at a consumer packaged goods or financial services company.
   
Ryan Daniels
VP of Treasury

Ryan graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Journalism and Political Science. Prior to Georgetown, he spent four years in television news as a writer and producer. Upon graduation, Ryan plans to pursue a career in marketing. In addition to his role with the Graduate Marketing Association, Ryan serves as a marketing teaching assistant and Co-President of the MSB Chapter of the Georgetown Entertainment & Media Alliance.

   
Beth Engel
Co-VP of Technology

Beth received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame with a B.S. in Biochemistry.  Prior to starting her MBA at Georgetown, Beth worked as Project Director for NetShops, Inc., an online retail company with over 200 unique web stores.  Upon attaining her MBA, Beth plans to pursue a career in strategy and business development.  In addition to her involvement with the Graduate Marketing Association, Beth is a member of the Georgetown Women in Business, GU Connect, and the Georgetown Entrepreneurship and Technology Association. 
   
Don Shao
Co-VP of Technology

Don graduated from the University of Virginia with a master’s degree in Systems Engineering. Prior to Georgetown, he spent four years with Lockheed Martin as a member of its distinguished Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) and as a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Don’s interests span across brand management for the consumer electronics industry and strategy consulting.

Kirk Keel
Co-President

Kirk graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA, with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.  Prior to Georgetown, he spent four years with Lockheed Martin as a member of its distinguished Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) and as a certified Lean and Six Sigma Black Belt.  As a career switcher, Kirk has accepted a brand management internship with Johnson and Johnson in its McNeil Consumer group.  His hometown is Pittsburgh, PA.

   
Vanessa Ting
Co-President

Vanessa graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in International Relations.  Prior to Georgetown, she spent seven years in marketing research, most recently with Neutrogena Corporation (a Johnson & Johnson company).  Vanessa has accepted a summer internship position in brand management with Unilever.  Upon graduation, she plans to return to the consumer packaged goods industry to pursue a career in brand management.  In addition to her role with the Graduate Marketing Association, Vanessa also serves as Co-Vice President of Events for the Georgetown Wine Society.

   
Kenny Moore
Co-VP of Career Management

Kenny received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Spanish after studying abroad in Spain. His past work experience includes forensic accounting for KPMG as well as corporate sales for Staples, Inc. and the Hudson Highland Group.  Upon attaining his MBA, Kenny plans to pursue a career in Brand Management.  In addition to his involvement with the Graduate Marketing Association, Kenny is also the Co-President of the Georgetown’s Black MBA Association and a member of the Graduate Entertainment & Media Association.
   
Elias Aguilera
Co-VP of Career Management

While attending the University of Texas at El Paso toward a degree in Political Science, Elias spent seven years in retail management and risk management with Wal-Mart Stores Inc.  Elias was concurrently responsible for management recruiting for Wal-Mart Stores in his region.  Prior to attending the McDonough School of Business, Elias worked with Mervyn's and as a small business entrepreneur helping individuals with disabilities establish productive careers.  Elias accepted a summer internship position with Procter & Gamble under the brand management umbrella within the Home Care Division.  Upon graduation, Elias will be pursuing a career in brand management in the consumer packaged goods industry.

   
Michael Cirrito
VP of Consulting Projects

Michael is a native Washingtonian who spent the past 9 years working in music and media in Northern California.  Michael spent 2 years working for San Francisco concert promoter, Bill Graham Presents where he managed artist ticketing operations for such nationally touring acts as Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and The Who. In the winter of 2000, Michael left BGP to help start JamBase.com, a tour date search engine and music marketing company. In his 5 years with JamBase, Michael was responsible for various areas of the business including marketing, sales, strategy, and business development.  After MSB, Michael plans on pursuing a career in marketing strategy and business development.  Michael holds a BA in History from Clemson University.
   

Sheila Walsh
Co-VP of Internal Events

Prior to Georgetown, Sheila held a variety of marketing roles with Dean Foods, one of the nation’s leading food and beverage companies.  As Marketing Manager for Garelick Farms, Dean’s dairy brand in New England and upstate NY, Sheila was responsible for coupon programs, event marketing, and the development of the first company website.  Sheila graduated from Brown University in 2001 and her favorite food is pizza.

   
Norman Law
Co-VP of Internal Events

Before attending MSB, Norman graduated from Boston University's School of Management in 2000 with concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems.  He lived in Boston, MA for six years working for Standard & Poor's in their technical client services department.  Norman would like to pursue a career in marketing strategy and business development in either technology or sports management.

   
Thanh Tran
Co-VP of Internal Events

Thanh has spent most of her life in Massachusetts after immigrating to the US from Vietnam.  She graduated magma cum laude from Amherst College with a BA in Asian Studies.  Prior to attending Georgetown, Thanh spent five years working in client services for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and a hedge fund called Bridgewater Associates.  She then left the finance world to start her own calligraphy business.  Thanh plans to pursue a career in marketing strategy and business development upon receiving her MBA.
   

Reshma Bharne
Co-VP of External Events

Reshma was born and raised in Queens, NY.  She received a B.A. in Economics from Tufts University in Medford, MA (outside of Boston).  Prior to Georgetown, she worked as a paralegal at an immigration law firm in Boston, MA and as a research associate at a nonprofit survey research firm in Washington, DC.  Upon graduation, she hopes to work in brand management at a consumer packaged goods company or at a financial services organization.

   

Natasha Privalova
Co-VP of External Events

Natasha graduated from Ural State University of Economics in Russia. After graduation she spent three years in financial services industry and six years in luxury goods industry developing marketing and brand enhancement strategies.  She also has extensive experience with international jewelry shows and in organizing advertising campaigns and social events.  Upon graduation Natasha will pursue a career in strategic marketing and brand management in the consumer packaged groups industry or for an international development organization.

   

Valeriana Branzuela
Co-VP of Social Events

A Northern California native, Valeriana graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in Economics.  Her experience ranges from running her own international business to sales and channel development in the software industry.  She has accepted a summer internship with the marketing group at Colgate-Palmolive and will pursue a career in brand management upon graduation.

   

Dave Pan
Co-VP of Social Events

Dave was born in Taiwan but grew up in scenic New Jersey. He graduated from Dartmouth College with an AB in Government. Prior to Georgetown, Dave spent four years working as a project manager at Fisher Investments, a high-net worth asset manager in the San Francisco Bay Area. He previously worked as an analyst for a San Francisco startup. Dave has accepted an internship position with 3M in the company's Strategic Business Development group. Upon graduation Dave would like to pursue a career in brand management or strategy.

   
Neal Mathuran
Co-VP of Fundraising

After graduating from Tufts University in 2003 with a double major in Economics and Political Science, Neal Mathuran spent the next three years living in New York City.  During his time in NYC, he worked at two Asset Management companies.  After three years in the financial services industry, he is planning on transitioning to a career in marketing following his graduation from Georgetown.

   
Yongmei Wang
Co-VP of Fundraising

Yongmei came to Chicago in 2002 from China. Prior to Georgetown, she worked for six years at Procter & Gamble as the Regional Sales Manager in the Key Retailer Channel for East China, working with global chain supermarkets. She graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China with a B.S. in English and a minor in Physics. Yongmei has accepted a summer internship at Johnson & Johnson in its Medical Devices division. She plans to pursue a career in international development or marketing strategy upon graduation. With broad extracurricular interests, Yongmei brings a multicultural perspective to GMA.
   
Barrett White
VP of Treasury

Barrett graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003.  Barrett started off as a Field Marketing Representative for Newell Rubbermaid focusing on such brands as Sharpie, Graco, Little Tikes, and Rubbermaid.  She then went to work as a Financial Advisor at Smith Barney here in DC.  Barrett is originally from New Orleans and has been in DC since 2003.
   
Damyant Gill
VP of Technology

Damyant graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Computer Science.  Prior to Georgetown, his most recent position was as a Software Design Lead for the Department of Defense in Southern California.  Damyant also spent two years as a member of the Engineering and Scientist Development Program with the Department of Navy.  Damyant is actively involved in the MSB community; he is the VP of Social Events for the South Asian Business Alliance; VP of Finance for Cal Trek; and a member of Net Impact.  Damyant has accepted an internship with Sun Microsystems in the Messaging & Evidence group.
